de capital-risque&lt;br /&gt;- une enveloppe globale de 3,5 milliards de dollars dont 200 millions injectés par Intel&lt;br /&gt;- un budget qui sera dépensé sur deux ans, exclusivement au profit d'entreprises américaines, dans des secteurs technologique clés&lt;br /&gt;- 10 500 postes pour les jeunes diplômés&lt;br /&gt;- Participation de 16 grandes firmes du secteur des TIC qui se sont engagées, comme Intel, à augmenter l'embauche de jeunes diplômés.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Pourquoi un best-practice?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tout y est, les fonds, les entreprises et surtout les iSlate rival&lt;/a&gt; came up few days ago.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But the other point coming to my mind is that &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;curious barcode on the N1's /&gt;Actually I just don't know what this barcode is made for but, but if each device has its own barcode, we can figure out that Google has a huge potential to create a new interface with mobile phones.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Here are the two killer apps I thought about:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1- Barcode redirecting to an improved GSpace, a new way to achieve transfert files between cellphones. A kind of USB drive killer. Just imagine how sending pics to a mate could be easy?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2- Barcode linked to your Google Checkout's account.&lt;br /&gt;Google can then create a new way to transfert money through mobile phones.&lt;br /&gt;Merchant could also scan your barcode to finalize transactions.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So Google has a unique opportunity, thanks to its great web services, to create a new ecosystem and to revolutionnize the interface mobile-human.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In any case if Google is looking for someone to develop these ideas I'm right over here ;-)&lt;div type='text'>My first fundraising ever!</title><content type='html'>December 4th 2009 will remain an important day for me.&lt;br /&gt;A great achievement: my first fundraising as a consultant!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I've been working during 2 months with a start-up specialized in mobile local services.&lt;br /&gt;Finally we have raised 860k$ which is far away from our expectations (we expected only 500k$ for this first round).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But I'm kind of frustrated, I cannot give any details neither on the product nor on the startup itself!&lt;br /&gt;Investor and CEO want to adopt the low profile attitude with their "baby".&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So I respect their will (actually I'm obliged because of the NDA I've signed up :-) but I'd like to warmly thank them for this great collaboration.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Funds will help to:&lt;br /&gt;- recruit 2 developers + 1 sales engineer&lt;br /&gt;- buy new machines and furnitures&lt;br /&gt;- pay the office rent&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;At the beginning it was really tricky, especially due to the fact we operated as a virtual team in three different countries: Israel, USA and France.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;After only two months, the result is out of our craziest expectations and I'm looking forward hearing from this great start-up in the best blogs very soon.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I'm also working for an other start-up which has just started a second round of fundraising, this time the challenge is way bigger, we are talking about more than 10 million USD.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The final result should On peut ainsi penser que l'âge d'or tant attendu du fameux "idle screen" pourrait enfin arriver &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;Admob, à peine racheté propose des &lt;a href="http://www.mobilemarketingwatch.com/admob-launches-interactive-ads-for-iphone-video-4478/?utm_source=feedburner&amp;amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;amp;utm_campaign=Feed%3A+MobileMarketingWatch+%28Mobile+Marketing+Watch%29&amp;amp;utm_content=Google+Reader"&gt;publicités interactives&lt;/a&gt; pour toutes les vidéos consultées via un iPhone&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;Des services comme Spotify et Deezer qui apportent encore et toujours de la valeur ajoutée au mobile et qui ont des modèles d'affaires très convenable&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;span style=";font-family:verdana;font-size:100%;"  &gt;Bref, tout est réuni pour avoir de l'engouement, de l'utilisation et de l'argent.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;3- Un acteur majeur&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Pour qu'une industrie passe le pas, il lui faut un acteur charismatique.&lt;br /&gt;Pas la peine de chercher bien loin, Google est là!&lt;br /&gt;Avec en quelques semaines:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;ul  style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;Le rachat d'Admob&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;La sortie d'Android 2.0 avec des services exceptionnels et gratuits comme &lt;a href="http://www.google.com/mobile/navigation/#p=default"&gt;Google navigation&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;Un &lt;a href="http://www.zdnet.fr/actualites/telecoms/0,39040748,39710322,00.htm?xtor=RSS-1"&gt;partenariat&lt;/a&gt; avec Orange visant à distribuer les services Google sur les portails de l'opérateur&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;L'engouement et la prolifération des terminaux Android (tout en autant de canaux de distribution pour les services de Big G)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;span style=";font-family:verdana;font-size:100%;"  &gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Conclusion:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Alors c'est pour quand? N'oublions pas que le but ultime de la publicité c'est de vendre.  Or, aujourd'hui entre la pub sur mobile et l'action d'achat il se passe plein de choses:&lt;br /&gt;- la peur des consommateurs&lt;br /&gt;- le manque de moyens de paiement fiable&lt;br /&gt;- un écosystème lourd où les acteurs ne se sont pas tout à fait mis d'accord&lt;br /&gt;- une carte bleu qui n'est pas reliée à son mobile&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Mais il se passe de nombreuses choses se passent de ce côté là:&lt;br /&gt;- Mastercard qui porpose une platforme simplifée pour le m-paiement (&lt;a href="http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/mastercard-launches-mastercard-mobile-payments-gateway-to-spark-mobile-commerce-globally-70174732.html"&gt;ici&lt;/a&gt;)&lt;br /&gt;- RIM qui propose un SDK vraiement tourné vers la transaction à ses développeurs (&lt;a href="http://www.blogger.com/offensive%20http://www.mobiadnews.com/?p=4152"&gt;ici&lt;/a&gt;)&lt;br /&gt;- Une déferlante de services de paiement par mobile: &lt;a href="http://www.paytoomobile.com/content/video"&gt;Paytoo&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://main.mchek.com/"&gt;mCheck&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://www.gomonews.com/mobile-commerce-world-paying-through-applications-with-paypal/"&gt;Paypal&lt;/a&gt;, ou encore &lt;a href="http://www.intomobile.com/2009/11/03/billing-revolution-enables-paypal-merchants-to-conduct-mobile-transactions.html"&gt;Billing revolution&lt;/a&gt; pour ne citer qu'eux...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Donc à mes yeux, la montée en puissance des services mobiles se joue dans l'interaction entre toutes les composantes susmentionnées. La prise en main reste difficile pour un quidam de l'informatique.&lt;br /&gt;- L'OS d'Apple... reste chez Apple, il s'agit d'une niche à part.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Un très bon timing:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;- L'OS Android n'est pas encore prêt.&lt;br /&gt;- L'approche des fêtes de Noël.&lt;br /&gt;- Peu de nouveaux entrants parmi les concepteurs d'OS PC.&lt;br /&gt;- Côté particuliers: l'effet Netbook  qui représente environ 20 % du marché mondial des PC va favoriser l'adoption de Windows 7 notamment avec la version Starter qui sera intégrée sur la majorité des nouveaux modèles de ce segment.&lt;br /&gt;- Côté entreprise: le parc XP est à changer.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;En conclusion,&lt;/span&gt; la migration vers Windows 7 devrait donc se faire à partir de la mi-2010 et sur l'ensemble de l'année 2011, date à laquelle Microsoft arrêtera de supporter Windows XP. Le mode de &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;compatibilité avec les versions précédentes&lt;/span&gt; de Windows va grandement faciliter son adoption en entreprise.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Le timing et le désert concurrentiel auront sûrement raison des qualités intrinsèques de Windows 7.
